Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser and can read on later visits. Other technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage), work in a similar way.

Some cookies are essential for a website to work, while others remember preferences, measure traffic or are used for advertising. Under Law no. 506/2004 and the GDPR, cookies that are not strictly necessary may be used only with your consent.

This policy describes the cookies used on the theposting.ai website and application, operated by INSPIRING RESEARCH & INVENTIVE SOLUTIONS S.R.L.. You can read about how we process personal data in general in the Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary

– without them the website or the application cannot work or cannot provide what you have explicitly asked for (for example signing in or the chosen language). They do not require consent and cannot be turned off in our settings.

Preferences

– remember choices that make your experience more convenient, but are not essential. They are used only with your consent.

Analytics

– help us understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used (for example which pages are visited). They are used only with your consent.

Marketing

– are used to measure or personalise advertising, including on other websites. They are used only with your consent.

What we currently use. Strictly necessary cookies and, only with your consent for the “Analytics” category, the Google Analytics 4 cookies; we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Until you accept, nothing is loaded from Google. We do not use preference cookies. The “Marketing” category is not used at the moment and we use no advertising tools: if we add the Meta Pixel, it will only run with your consent for “Marketing” and will set the _fbp cookie (Meta, 3 months); before that we will update this policy and ask for your consent again. Separately, we count visits ourselves, without cookies (see below).

All the cookies below are set on the theposting.ai domain. The analytics ones are created by Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and exist only if you have accepted the “Analytics” category:

Why we consider pc_locale strictly necessary. The cookie is set only when you explicitly choose a language and serves solely to deliver pages to you in the language you requested. It is not used to track you or to build a profile of you. If you do not choose a language, nothing is saved and the website is shown in English.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Both services are provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Tag Manager is the tool that loads Google Analytics and does not set cookies itself. It loads only after you accept the “Analytics” category; until then nothing is sent to Google. We use Google Consent Mode v2: all Google signals start as “denied” and your choice updates them (“Analytics” allows analytics storage; “Marketing” would allow the advertising signals, but we use no advertising tools at the moment). Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off for Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data may reach Google LLC in the USA, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. Google Tag Manager does not load on the administration pages. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

We do not use the browser’s local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage) or advertising pixels. Besides Google Analytics, we count visits with our own cookieless method: when a page is shown, the browser sends us its address, the referring site and campaign tags, the device type and the language, and nothing is saved on your device. A visitor is recognised for one day only, by a code calculated from a random key that changes every day, the IP address and the browser type (the IP address is not stored), so this does not let us follow you from one day to the next or on other websites. Details are in the Privacy Policy. The website’s fonts are served from our own servers, not by third parties.

We do not use a separate CSRF protection cookie: the application’s forms are protected by the server checking the origin of each request.

The website is delivered through the Cloudflare network. When Cloudflare’s security features are active (for example bot or attack protection), Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies on our domain, such as __cf_bm (up to 30 minutes), _cfuvid (for the browsing session) or cf_clearance (after passing a security check, for the duration set in the Cloudflare settings). They serve only to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic and are not used for tracking or advertising.

Some actions take you to other providers’ websites, which set their own cookies, on their own domains and under their own policies:

• Subscription payments take place on the Stripe Checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), and subscription management in the Stripe portal. Stripe uses cookies, including for fraud prevention. No Stripe scripts are loaded on theposting.ai pages.
• Connecting a social account takes you, through the Zernio service, to the sign-in page of the network concerned (for example X, LinkedIn or Meta).
• Links to published posts open the social networks’ websites.

We do not control these cookies. We recommend that you consult the policies of the providers concerned.

On your first visit we show you a banner where you can choose “Accept all”, “Necessary only” or “Customize”, to decide separately for each category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, while the other categories remain turned off until you give your consent.

Your choice is saved in the pc_consent cookie for 6 months. After this period, or when we change the list of cookies or the categories in a way that requires new consent, we will ask you again.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer or with the button below. If you withdraw your consent for “Analytics”, Google Analytics stops immediately, the _ga and _ga_GVPYW6ZXZ7 cookies are deleted from your browser and the page reloads without Google Tag Manager. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of the use of cookies before the withdrawal.

If you accepted the “Analytics” category before Google Analytics was used on the website, that consent does not cover Google Analytics: in that case we show you the banner again, now naming Google Analytics, and load nothing from Google until you accept again.

Open cookie settings

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some features will stop working: for example you will not be able to sign in, and your chosen language will not be remembered.

We will update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.

This policy is available in Romanian, English and Italian. The Romanian version is the reference version.
